Ask-A-Planner

This week’s question comes from Mary in Los Angeles.

Hi Sara,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m planning a Christmas Brunch this Sunday and as an activity I will have a craft table where the guest will be able to make their own gift tags– I’ll send you pictures! Where could I also find templates for food labels and other items for a holiday party?

Thanks!

Mary

Hi Mary,

Sounds like a fun party! I wish I could join you.

I found a few different sign packages to give your party a design feel. The first 2 are quite complete– the last one just includes a few pieces, but was too cute to forget. And, of course, they are all free!

From left: 1, 2, and 3

I hope this helps– and good luck on Sunday!

xoxo

Free {Cute} Gift Tags!

Somehow I always down play the importance of gift tags until I start wrapping. Then I have this “oh crap” moment where I try to remember the contents as each box starts to look eerily similar.

If you are anything like me, have no fear! I have rounded up some of the cutest– and best yet– free printable gift tags for you. So all you have you do it is pull up this post, print and cut. All the better if you remember to print them on a full sheet sized label paper.

Find and print these labels: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Feeling a Bit Spooky!

Are you ready for this Halloween season? It will kick off the 3 months straight of DIY and entertaining of holiday goodness — or, otherwise known as one of my favorite times of the year.

I’ve already seen so many cute ideas and October has barely started.

black lace candles/halloween jelly favors/ spooky, not tacky/printable invite/Halloween Advent Calendar {that sounds all kinds of weird, but it is!}

Man-of-Honor Printables

Did you have a mixed gender wedding party? I did– one of my best guy friends was a bridesman {I was also in his wedding}, and my sister-in-law stood on my husband’s side as a groomswoman. With this being the modern way of the world, why should only the girls have all the fun? How about a cute way to ask the guys to be on your team? Using these free printables, gifts can be personalized {such as a roll of Rolos, drum sticks and moleskins here}, so boys can be a part of  the party fun. {via Well Groomed}

First Day of School Fun

Even though some of you have already started school {DC doesn’t start until next week}, these free printables were too cute not to share.

What a great idea to print out a sign that will tell you for years to come what grade {and teacher and the date} this picture is chronicling. Click here to print it out.

And I love these adorable notebook printables for notes and signs. Click here to print these.

Parents– are you ready?!

Paper Love

I have weddings on the brain this week. These stationery pieces are not only gorgeous, but are helping me get into the wedding zone. {what? It’s a thing.}

This invitation walks the perfect line between modern and vintage, classy and fun.

Being that I am a huge bookworm, this invitation suite is perfect in every way.

These adorable recipe cards would be perfect for a wedding shower. {favors or a gift for the bride to be, filled with her family and friends favorites} Even better? It’s a free printable!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope your day is full of fun, family and fireworks!
