I love color {I don’t think this is news}. But I have a lot of rules about what colors I will wear and what goes together. Purple, green, blue, yellow, red– all on the good list. Pink, orange –on the no list. I’m challenging myself to mix more colors (3 if I can!) and I’m feeling like I may need to extend my net a little further. With Tangerine Tang0 as this year’s hottest color, I feel like orange may be that color.

This is my current iphone wallpaper even! {via The Sweetest Occasion}
Are you all excited about the Oscars? We try to see as many of the movies as possible. In DC they have free viewings of the movies nominated for awards in the documentary, features and short, and animated shorts so we are going to take in a few. We can’t wait for the show coming up in just a few weeks.
So I was so psyched to see this adorable party full of free DIY printables at Twig & Thistle. Who knows– maybe we will end up having an Oscar party!
Beautiful, right? Click here to find these items and the files to download them. xoxo
Are you guys ready for V-day next week? I’m definitely not! Hopefully this card round up will help us all get up to speed.
These are perfect for little boys:
These are sweet and new from Hello Lucky!
Sweet. xoxo
It’s September — and school has either started or will soon. While I am sad to see my pool days dwindling, I can imagine there are some excited parents out there. Excited that their kid is starting a new chapter in their lives…and excited for some peace and quiet. I can imagine a parent handing cupcakes out to the families in their carpool– or maybe having them over a after drop-off. These flags are too cute– and better yet, they are free to download!
Happy Labor Day Weekend– and Good Luck this school year! xoxo
I hope you all love free printables as much as I do! I am actually trying to limit myself as to how many I post– but I won’t restrain myself if you all love them as much as I do!
This sweet ice cream tag from Eat Drink Chic can be used for lots of things– signage, invitations, gifts. And I love the flavors—err, I mean, colors!
And these sweet tags from The Handmade Home were for Christmas, but they are so wonderfully not Christmas-y…you could use them for birthday gifts or anniversaries or wedding– whatever works for you! (There’s a pink and orange one that I know just the person who will love it!)

I usually post recipes on Fridays, but with Easter this weekend I thought I would post some downloadable fun instead! I love this Easter Brunch–which could be used for any spring party. Scroll down for invites, masks and place cards.
