As you found out yesterday, I have stars on the mind. So I’m loving this sweet, multi-generational event around looking up and at these bright and natural party decorations. {via The Sweetest Occasion}
Somethings I am loving right now.

As summer turns into fall, colors are a daily battle in my wardrobe, with cooler tones invading. One day soon I’m going to put away my summer brights and take out my winter essentials…maybe.

With the weather cooling down, I don’t mind turing on the oven and filling the house with the smell of fresh baked cookies. I’ve been collecting some recipes that I can’t wait to try out this fall.

I’m not big on nail art {it’s time consuming and looks a bit tacky} even as I love bold colors. But this new trend of fun tips is really making me rethink my stance. It adds a classy bit of color and excitement to plain nails or a bit of design to fully painted ones. Either way, it’s a trend to try!

Are you all noticing this triangle trend? It’s everywhere, from structured chevron to free flow shapes to tribal looks. This look is definitely ”in.” {via Oh So Beautiful Paper}

These awesome gold tasseled banners would make great additions to this party for the parents celebrating kids’ return to daily activities. From esty store michiemay paperie.

The pictures are in! Roxanne + Joe were married in October at the Desmond Tutu Center (and you saw a little preview here)– and here it is in all it’s amazing glory. She’s such a beautiful bride, and they are such a fun couple. I am so glad they were my first wedding clients! {Check out her inspiration board here}

Are you ready for Thanksgiving??
If you have the wear-with-all to visit a few more stores and have some kids coming over this week, this post is for you. That, and you love cute food. Remember these graduation caps? They went over so well– I think these foods would get the same kind of attention!
One to represent the Pilgrims, one for the Indians.
And, if you having people coming for breakfast– and want something a little less political.
And what I am making for dessert? Not nearly as cute, but I’m hoping just as yummy– a pumpkin gingerbread trifle.
Looks good, right? Happy Thanksgiving — and Thanksgiving Eve! xoxo
