Love: Heart Studs

I don’t wear a lot of studs {dangling or hoops are much more my style} but I’m crushing on these heart earrings. They look sweet, but not too sweet, like you know the wearer of this jewelry has more going on than just niceness. Wouldn’t they make a great gift for your sassy bridesmaids?

Fruit & Flowers

Do you follow the traditional gifts for anniversaries? We do, although often with our own take; for example, the first year we decided “paper” meant plane tickets, so we flew to Paris. This past Friday marked 4 years married for my husband and me. We weren’t going to travel, so I was trying to come up with a thoughtful gift that showed how much the past 4 years have meant to me.

We decided on fruit and flowers was the traditional gift for this year, and I started brainstorming {translation: looking on pinterest}. I saw a picture of a fruit pie and it clicked immediately. My husband loves pie {even over cake!} especially mixed berry. I found Pretty Please Pies to custom make one in Hong Kong and my man couldn’t have been happier. It might be the best gift I have ever given him. {side note: this awesome baker made sure I had my pie for my anniversary, even as she was on her way to the hospital with appendicitis!}

This is how we celebrated our every day {or year, as the case may be}. What did you do for your 4th anniversary?

Small Cards {and Envelopes}

Things you should know about me: I love to travel; I love stationery; and I love giving gifts. That should put you in the right frame of mind for these tiny cards.

They are the perfect size to go on little gifts {usually for our parents} that I get on my travels. I love how they have a card for every occasion…

{I can’t wait for the occasion to give this to someone!}

{These are kate spade-I can’t seem to find them anymore, sadly.}

Wrap Them Up With Love

Now that you can make the perfect cookies {using Roxanne’s tips}, don’t forget to put them together in a pretty package that will make the recipient see all of the love you put into your goodies.

Feeling the Love

Check out these adorable holiday DIY lovelies– from gift ideas to crafting, you will be set this Valentine’s Day!

I want to get these beautiful balloons– and tassels- on Tuesday.

I need to  give this card to a friend.

Spruce up your kids’ or hubby’s lunch.

Such a sweet cake.

Love Potion#9.

These cookies are amazing. Oh my.

This card is fun– and it’s a printable!

This packaging is lovely– and also a printable.

Are you feeling it? I am! xoxo

Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

One of my biggest regrets from my own wedding was how I asked my friends to be bridesmaids– I was just so excited to be asking them, I didn’t make any sweet gestures. My newlywed friend Roxanne made cute cards,  and these ombre cupcakes take the cake.

Holiday Gifts

I know this is a little late, but I wanted to share with you our DIY Christmas gifts this year. We decided that we wanted to give something that was sustainable and natural, and would help the earth in some way– so we decided on cloth napkins. We decided to use our yudu to give them a cool design– but deciding on one was the hardest part. Since we wanted to give these to our grandma and our friends, we needed something universal and modern,  but would fit into a rustic theme as well. We decided on a tree motif, since it has so many great connotations to nature and family.

I wrapped the up with red twine and added a green tag, each with a different quote about trees. Some people seemed to like the quotes more than the napkins!

We made a set for ourselves– and can’t wait to use them. We hope our friends and family feel the same. xoxo

Roundin’ Up Christmas

Was your weekend full of Christmas shopping, like me?  Between that, the cold weather and the Christmas carols playing in the background I’m feeling in the spirit. How about you?

I love this design. {It says its a printable, but I haven’t found that version yet…}

This {printable} letterhead for Santa is so sweet.

I love holiday treats as gifts.

These sugar cone trees could be really cute as centerpiece for a party or dinner.

Crazy paper totally intrigues me {even if I can’t quite bring myself to use it}.

Anything you are seeing that you love for Christmas? xoxo
