Thanksgiving Table Lovely

Do you already know what your Thanksgiving table will look like? Or do you need some inspiration? I know I do.

How about some pumpkins? {and I heart the striped tablecloth}

Or how about making some of your own pumpkins? {Source 1, source 2}

And what about paper stationery?  Both DIY, of course. {Source 1, source 2}

And I love these sweet “Thank You” books as favors. Such a thoughtful touch!

Good Luck– and send me pictures! I want to see how you celebrate! xoxo

Make Some Butter and Break Some Ice

I mentioned my friend Liza, who likes to make everything from scratch, including her own butter. So when I saw this idea of having your guests help make the butter, I thought it was a great way to get them involved with her cause.

Just put some cream, salt and marbles in a jar and pass it around. Everyone can participate in shaking the jar, passing the burden around and getting to know each other. Then everyone gets to enjoy the freshly made butter (hopefully with some freshly made bread!).

I love it!

Astronaut Food Station

I love parties a DIY snack element. S’mores buffets, make your own pizza, or drinks with choices make me happy.  Probably because I am a bit of a picky eater (I can already hear my husband laughing at this), but these activities can allow for dietary needs, but also allow guests to have fun and be creative.

That’s why I loved the trail mix station at this 5 year old party. So fun and so yummy– to each guests specifications!

Have a great weekend! xoxox
