Find Your Name…Then Eat It!

Edible place cards are all the rage, with Oh Happy Day and You Are My Fave leading the way.  I love the idea of finding my seat, then getting to munch down right away, or take it home as a snack.

So I rounded up a few other options {and are maybe a little easier!}

Cookies are an obvious choice, and can fit any theme.

I also like these marshmallows for a s’mores party– although all the better if the chocolate and graham cracker are incorporated.

And for a brunch party, or just to help overnight guests find their seats at breakfast, cereal can be used.

Any other place cards that you can eat that you are crushing on? xoxox

It’s Game Night!

I love game night. I’ve had game nights in Orlando, Hong Kong, NYC, South Carolina– everyone loves it.  Here are some ideas to take your game night to the next level.

E-vite has tons of game night layouts. Find one that fits your fancy and go with it!

I love the idea of using scrabble tiles for place settings and centerpieces!

For snacks, finger food is easiest, unless you take a break for dinner. Popcorn, veggies and snacks.  These scrabble cookies really pump the theme.

And these chocolate letters are rich and small. Perfect for small bites!

For prizes, you can DIY! Try making your own scrabble jewelery and pillows!

As for games, the sky is the limit! Scrabble is a favorite, as is Cranium, Rage, Taboo, Guesstures, and Trivial Pursuit. If you have a lot of space, games like ping-pong and croquet can be added.

Do you have any tips or suggestions for game night? I would love to hear them!
