Wedding Stationery Timeline

This is an awesome visual tool to help with wedding planning, especially if you are going custom. Of course if you don’t have the luxury of a year, don’t fret— it can be smushed down. But this would certainly be the ideal, with the “oh crap!” time that I always like to build in, just in case. {via Crafty Pie Press}

9th Letter Press

I gotta send some hometown love to the 9th Letter Press, a new stationery shop in Winter Park, FL {I got my business degree in this beautiful little city, and grew up not 10 minutes away}. Doing design and letterpress now– I can’t wait for them to open a storefront.

Think I will have to do some online ordering soon!

Triangles Triangles Everywhere!

Are you all noticing this triangle trend? It’s everywhere, from structured chevron to free flow shapes to tribal looks. This look is definitely ”in.” {via Oh So Beautiful Paper}

Paper Love

I have weddings on the brain this week. These stationery pieces are not only gorgeous, but are helping me get into the wedding zone. {what? It’s a thing.}

This invitation walks the perfect line between modern and vintage, classy and fun.

Being that I am a huge bookworm, this invitation suite is perfect in every way.

These adorable recipe cards would be perfect for a wedding shower. {favors or a gift for the bride to be, filled with her family and friends favorites} Even better? It’s a free printable!

Holiday DIY Cards

Now that all of our Holiday cards are out, I wanted to share how we made them.

We ended up creating a printed version and an email-able version for our friends overseas for these easy cards. We really liked the postcard format, as it’s easy and fun {not to mention postage is cheaper!}. We found an image and a saying we liked and used that as a template {Thanks pintrest– but I think it’s originally from this awesome lady.}

I decided on a red and gold theme, so I went to Paper Source to find some cool gold paper. We printed out 4 postcards per sheet, then I used my corner cutter to round the edges. Since we printed the names and addresses on each (yea!) I got to take my time and write a thoughtful message on each {with the red sharpie}.

Since I’m loving the colored edge theme, I tried to paint the edges red to add some fun, but it didn’t really turn out well. Oops. So a few people received the weird the edges, while most were clean. {you can see the top few in the picture below with the red edge}

In the end, I think they turned out pretty well! I’ve even seen a few on refrigerators, so that’s a good sign, right?

Happy Holidays! xoxo
